THE DAY
A day full of love.
Sunday 28 June 2026 was a day full of love, joy and happy tears at Shustoke Barn, a wedding venue near Coleshill in Warwickshire. Aprile and Georgi began the day getting ready at home with the people closest to them, arrived separately at the barn to a room full of family and friends, and were married under a floral arch in the warm glow of exposed brick and oak beams. Afterwards came confetti, hugs, relaxed portraits in golden light, speeches, cake and a first dance that led into a packed dance floor. I was with them from the morning until late at night, and it was a joy to photograph.

THE DAY AT A GLANCE
From getting ready to the last dance.
I arrive in the morning for the bridal preparation, capturing the details and the natural moments of getting ready.
Georgi arrives at Shustoke Barn, followed shortly afterwards by Aprile.
Aprile and Georgi are married, with confetti at the front of the venue straight afterwards.
Afterwards: couple portraits, group photographs, the wedding breakfast and speeches.
Evening: guests arrive, the cake is cut, Aprile and Georgi share their first dance, and the party carries on late into the night.
BRIDAL PREPARATION
Getting ready on the morning of the wedding
The morning began at home with hair, make-up and the people closest to Aprile. There were laughs, quiet moments and last details: the invitation, the shoes, the dress hanging ready and the final buttons fastened.
Aprile, relaxed and smiling as the morning came together.

Wedding ceremony at Shustoke Barn
Aprile and Georgi arrived separately, one after the other, to a barn full of family and friends. Under a floral arch, with exposed brick, oak beams and soft light all around them, they were married. A chair with a framed photograph kept someone special close, and the smiles, quiet words and first kiss as a married couple said everything. Outside, confetti flew at the front of the venue and the hugs began.

AFTER THE CEREMONY

With the sun lower and the red brick glowing, Aprile and Georgi slipped away for relaxed portraits around the barn, the lawn and the courtyard. Dancing on the grass, close moments under a tree and a pair of classic cars made for portraits full of love and fun.

Wedding breakfast and speeches in the barn
Inside, the barn was dressed with flowers, candlelight and warm brick for the wedding breakfast. A memory ladder stood as a personal detail, keeping loved ones close, and the speeches brought laughter and happy tears from the people who love them.
THE EVENING · SHUSTOKE BARN
Cake cutting, first dance and the party
Evening guests arrived, the cake was cut and Aprile and Georgi shared their first dance, before the dance floor filled with family and friends. Big hugs, big laughs and a glowing LOVE sign made it a night to remember.
Then the party began.
