I’m Ben, a Birmingham-based wedding photographer and filmmaker.
I like weddings to actually feel like weddings.
My job is to notice the moments happening while you’re busy enjoying the day. I’ll give you direction when you need it, especially for couple portraits and group photographs, but for most of the wedding I’ll let things happen naturally.
I photograph and film weddings throughout the West Midlands and across the UK. Wherever you’re celebrating, I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
How it all started
Photography has always been my passion. I love photographing people, especially when a photograph tells a story. From early on I was the family member with the camera in hand, catching candid, memorable moments of everyone and taking the best ones home to edit into something a little unique.
Over the years that practice and experience grew into a career. Weddings, parties and events are where it all began, and weddings are where I’m happiest.
What I bring to your day
I’m friendly and organised, and I’m just as comfortable with a big group of guests as I am with a small, intimate moment. That means the day keeps moving without ever feeling rushed or staged.
My background as a children’s and family entertainer gives me the confidence to work with children too, from the youngest guests at your wedding to one-to-one parent and child photographs.

I now photograph and film weddings, so you can have your photographs, a cinematic wedding film, or both from one person who already knows your plans, your people and your day.
